Their likely buyer pulled out this week too.
Gets all he deserves really. Piss-poor judgement to take the Sunderland job in the first place.
who would want that job?
It was on the Sunderland Relegated thread.
Another fall guy at the club rotten from top to bottom.

A trifle harsh, Chris Coleman is an experienced pair of hands, and experience is what could help them back into the Championship.
Really? he only took the Sunderland job for the money, he refused to stay as the Welsh manager because the Welsh FA would not give in to his financial demands (well done them IMO) I would far from say he "is an experienced pair of hands"
Teams managed
2003–2007 Fulham
2007–2008 Real Sociedad
2008–2010 Coventry City
2011–2012 AEL
2012–2017 Wales
2017–2018 Sunderland
Fifteen years of almost uninterrupted management there, if that isn't experienced l don't know what is. He wanted to show loyalty to the club by continuing to manage them in League One, shame Sunderland din't show the same degree of loyalty to him.
If the takeover by the current Eastleigh FC owner goes through, I think they'll do ok. He's done a great deal for my local club.
