That's what you get when enticing buyers who have no interest in football.
I was watching Sunday Supplement this morning and they talked about the current news/rumour about Steve Gerrard taking over at Rangers, and him finally showing the 'arrogance to say yes' - the idea being to be a manager you need that self-belief/arrogance to believe that you succeed where the last guy(s) failed.

A manager who feels like they have something to prove? Their debts are now cleared and they've got a new owner, plus they've got a few promising youth prospects coming through their academy. If (and it's a big IF) they can clear out the deadwood, like Rodwell then there's grounds for a team that should be able to bounce back at the first attempt, much like Wigan and Blackburn have done.

Really? he only took the Sunderland job for the money, he refused to stay as the Welsh manager because the Welsh FA would not give in to his financial demands (well done them IMO) I would far from say he "is an experienced pair of hands"

Fifteen years of almost uninterrupted management there, if that isn't experienced l don't know what is. He wanted to show loyalty to the club by continuing to manage them in League One, shame Sunderland din't show the same degree of loyalty to him.

If the takeover by the current Eastleigh FC owner goes through, I think they'll do ok. He's done a great deal for my local club.

The only loyalty Coleman has got is to his bank account! he didn't do much too keep Sunderland in the championship either so them showing no loyalty to him is hardly surprising, here is his Honours list as a player and manager........
