[Technology] Suggestions? Macbook Keyboard Failing

Evening all,

I have a late 2009 Macbook with a keyboard that is starting to PLay uP - firstly it thought the oPtion and control keys were continually PRessed, and now as you can see, it thinks the SHIFT KEY is being added to the mix.

I got hold of 'Karabiner' to disable?re_AssIgn the OPTioN And cONtroL KEYs, BUT now I've reached the end of my limited tech abilities. System Prefs are all in order. I fear this is a hardware issue more than anything else.

This is going to end uP at the Apple shoP I'm sure, but if anyone's had similar issues with theirs, any advice is gratefully rECeived. I have a wireless keyboard that works fine but in the sPirit of exhausting all Possibilities, where better to turn than the NSC SHoP of APPle Hijinks Sleuths?

Woah. Thanks but that's way beyond me! I suPPose there's electro_taPe stuff underneath somewhere that's sticking, in which case I shall leave it to the Pros. Cheers though.
