I didn't watch the whole first half (missed first 10), but what I've seen has been OK. Defensively quite good but still a few mistakes from midfield losing possession too easily. Improvement from last week that's for sure

Given the new idea of the transfer window closing before the season starts.
I think it would give new players a decent chance of adapting to their new team, in friendlies etc.....
Instead of the window dribbling into the start of the new season. IMO
