I know we have returned home proper and i know we have had much relative success during our time away from the Goldstone- but when John Baine wrote those words during the war years it really related to Albion being in this very position-

For all those fans who never made it-My mother included RIP mum,thank you for being there and i/we are thinking of you all..

Agreed. Bit of delayed gratification is what's needed here. People can't even seem to agree on what will constitute us going up, when it will happen and how to celebrate if it does. With that in mind I shall celebrate when it's in the bag for sure.
