I wanted to create a google account for Trig junior, so I typed in a new gmail address. Google has added that to my account. Should be no problem, but Google has decided to make it the main email of my account, and won't let me change it. ****ing idiots!

Ok, so it can't be fixed, so I decide to make my account his account, and create a new one for myself - but it won't let me create my account with my email as it says that account already exists FFS

Is there a live chat or something to help get this resolved?

Go to the Google homepage. Top-right corner, click on your avatar thingy. Try signing out, then logging back in under your preferred account.

Ah, my apologies. Have you tried going to "My Account" -> "Personal Info and Privacy" --> scroll down to "Email" --> amend your associated email address as required?

Again, that may not be what you're looking for, but it is my interpretation of your OP.

Because my main email for my google account wasn't a gmail, adding a gmail account made that my main email, and it won't let me change it.

The "solution", apparently, is to delete the new gmail address altogether.

But that means my son can never use that email address, because google still thinks it's mine.

I can't believe how shit Google is. If it was Microsoft I'd open a live chat with them, and they'd fix it.

Yes I could do that. But I don't want to, because the email address we chose is good for him. And I shouldn't have to do it, Google shouldn't be so shit.

neither did I but my e mail address allowed me to add 4 others of which I added 2 which was 1 for my wife and 1 for my work when I was working and my wife subsequently changed hers from @ TalkTalk.net to @ outlook.com
