No, he has to stay.

He could only have gone back if the transfer window had still been open.


It is in fact possible for him to go out on an emergency goalkeeper loan somewhere, but the team he goes to has to prove they have no fit keepers, and these loans only last 7 ? or maybe 14 ? days anyway.

That's how the Argus are reporting it, but I've now checked on the official fixture list and it is at the Amex ko 7pm.
