Let's get the

"There's still two months of the year left" and "it's just a marketing tool for the shop" comments out the way now so we can concentrate on discussing music.

I'll compose my top 10 and top 10 only.

Think my number 1 will be LUH and Songs For Spiritual Lovers To Sing.
Radiohead certainly in my top 10.
Thee Oh Sees - A Wierd Exits also.
PJ Harvey
Rival Consoles - Howl

That's 5 . Rest to follow.

Thought this year was pretty lame.

My MOR tastes will have Hamilton Leithauser, Car Seat Headrest, Jenny Hval, Nick Cave, Pinegrove, Tim Hecker, Whitney, Angel Olsen, MMoths and Parquet Courts in some formation within the top 10.

Nick Cave. Of course. How could I forget.

I never realised anyone else liked Moderat. Good call.

Bowie, Blackstar, obiously.

From HT's list I will agree with PJ Harvey and LUH.

Avalanches, Glass Animals, Crystal Castles, Primal Scream.

Avalanches is probably the one I return to most.

Love em. Saw them at Brighton Centre early on this year.

Oh and one more to add;

Douglas Dare - Aforger
FFO - Olafur Arnalds, Nils Frahm, Thom Yorke

Need to give Skeleton Tree more of a listen. Also Leonard Cohen's You Want It Darker (the song) is stunning.
