Did his brother Mike play for Palace? If so, has anyone seen him. Can someone ask for me, please?

TMS studiously referring to the Lords Groundsman as Mick or Michael always makes me smile.

Not sure why we bothered to buy Tyler Forbes.

U23s play Newcastle tonight, "First Team" play Reading tomorrow. Tyler-Forbes is suspended I think but would otherwise be needed for the U23s tonight.

You could also say why sign Hall when we have White. Strength in depth I guess. Seems they want a competitive U23 squad.

Question has already been answered but fwiw Forbes played left back against Villa for us. He can also play right midfield/wing. So pretty versatile it seems.

Thanks - probably explains my confusion

Tyler-Forbes and Pocognoli are both LEFT backs, no?

No, Tyler Forbes is a right back, and now seemingly 4th choice.

Just to give a bit more background on Hornby-Forbes....

He did his scholarship at Preston where he was primarily a right-winger (as in, an attacking midfielder on the right-hand side - I know nothing of his politics).

Having moved to Fleetwood, the club knew they would be losing Conor McLaughlin to international duty and so they tried Hornby-Forbes at full-back early in the season. In his two years at Fleetwood he made 38 appearances but played largely second fiddle to McLaughlin, with a number of his appearances being at right-midfield.

His Fleetwood manager Graham Alexander (who was also his youth team boss at Preston) has said of him "I wish I had his pace! He’s got a great attitude. He wants to win and be a success."
