Corbyn Rally tonight on front of Metropole

Just interested who is coming?

10,000+ attended in Liverpool and sung him You'll Never Walk Alone.

Just wondered if a few of us wanted to get together and sing GOSBT?

I am rarely on NSC so please tweet me @a******* or email me a*******@gmail.com

Mod edit: to remove email / twitter addresses cos it was a pretty stupid thing to include them in the first place!

The event sold out in hours on Sunday. Over 1,000 inside but anticipating hundreds or thousands more outside like we saw in Leeds and Liverpool

And about 40 million people in the rest of the country who think he's an idiot.

You know, a lot more people than you think would like to see the 100,000 new homes he and John are promising. That's 100k new homes every year for five years. Half a million new homes in just one term.

He's got to win an election first.

Presumably funded through his genius idea of printing more money?

I've seen nothing from JC which will attract the middle ground voters, without whom he hasn't a single shred of a chance of winning a general election.

FFS. Why does this get merged. They're two completely different events. No wonder why people know nothing about the truth when it gets compromised all the time

So simple isn't it? I don't doubt he is promising this and that; all politicians do, as you must surely know. It is the easiest thing in the world to promise what people want to hear. 500.00 new homes may be desirable, but might there also be a reason why others have not made such extravagant promises?

Corbyn is not like other politicians. He says what he thinks and not regurgitate rehearsed soundbites. He has fought for us his entire political life

Don't believe the MSM narrative which is ultimately backed by powerful people who want to water down our rights

you are delusional if you believe this is a media conspiracy, many on the left are saying the same thing. of course to his supporters they aren't left enough or dismissed as red tory or other nonsense, just adding to the sense of conspiracy.

on housing, the aims are laudable, but Corbyn and Mcdonnell believe it can be solved with the magical money tree, which even if it existed, wouldnt address the core problem of planning. i dont hear any proposal to overhaul the planning system to allow 1.5 million homes, just money to pay for it (btw, 100,000 would be additional to the current).

Genuine question: what is the truth in this context?

There has been a very small section of people (4.5%) who have never accepted his election since day one he got elected and have constantly tried to undermine him.

I was a Liz Kendall supporter btw but I got behind him because he was the democratically elected leader by a thumping margin. I also believe in progressive politics to fight the inequality and injustice of marginalised minorities. Equal pay for women and people with disabilities, particularly with autism. Millennials are also the first generation to have less money than their parents. Many of us will never be able to own a home
