Breaking- Mother & 3 daughters stabbed in France

Reported on the news wires and also know by the daily mail / telegraph a 37 year old man has stabbed a mother and her 3 daughters all aged under 16 as he apparently was annoyed by the clothes they were wearing. Too skimpy apparently. Not confirmed yet but the daily mail is reporting the man is, from Morroco and the skimpy clothes offended him as a Muslim

But who says it's because they were scantily dressed. The examining magistrate, who's at the scene and has, presumably, questioned witnesses says that it's not clear what the motive for the attack is but you, hundreds of miles away, assume that it's because the victims were scantily dressed.

As I said, further details may emerge later but no-one at the moment knows what the motives were

It's an odd article in the Telegraph, first reporting that he said something about scantily clad clothing and then reporting that the local prosecutor denies this.
