I fancy Derby to win play offs, so we need to get one of the autos.
I can just see them Without a high profile manager, in fact a caretaker manager, being the team with momentum and with nothing to lose playing without fear

We will win our next three games, because we are playing the best football in this division. We have the best manager who has done it before, we are playing the best football at the moment that we have played in an already, stand out season. In our last 11 games we have been, overall the better team,in all those games, except perhaps Forest away. We score goals throughout the team, and have two stunningly good young cbs,and arguably the best goalkeeper, as well as Bruno, and Liam Rosenior as fullback, who both have a mountain of experience in pressure situations. We have the best midfield combo in the division, and, wingers all very good, but a little bit different from each other so, pose more problems for opposing defenders.
The only department we are inferior to any other team is in attack, but, given the service our forwards now get, and the aforementioned goals throughout the team, this is not so crucial as it was.
Our bench is as strong,if not stronger than any of our rivals, with class players in every position, and the best team spirit I have witnessed in over 45 years of watching the Albion.

These are the reasons we will go up automatically,3 straight wins.

Yup, absolutely no idea why some posters are in absolute awe of these footballing gods Boro and Burnley. Both those clubs are now hobbling pitifully towards the finish line courtesy of a pathetically huge number of 90+ minute goals, whereas we've now started scoring for fun while conceding none. Sake! Off yer knees!

I am really surprised by some of the negativity and resignation on NSC in this and similar threads. Why keep looking forward with a pessimistic outlook? Indeed, why keep looking forward at all, can we not just deal with the here and now? We are THE form team, and I think can even win at Boro if necessary. That is all that matters as at 1330 on Friday 22nd. It might look all very different at 1655 on 23rd, but we deal with that then, not now.

The Gods will punish us for soaring. We tear towards the peak of Mt Olympus and Zeus smites us for daring to come so close. This will be a tragedy of Greek proportions, I can hardly bear to watch - let alone actually enjoy any of the games. :nono:

If we are still in it by the Boro game, anything can happen. The top 3 have tougher games than Hull, who could plausibly win all 4 (3 at home) and get to 88 points. At least two of the teams will better that I reckon though. If all keep winning I imagine Boro will not be fancying a winner takes all match up with us, while we'll have less expectation.

Come on Preston!

I am truly glad that the players, and management at the club don't share your cheese eating, surrender monkey attitude.
Did Churchill give in when the Hun were knocking at the door? No, he beat them, and went on to form a huge insurance company!
Did Wellington roll over to have his tummy tickled by Napolean? No, he kicked Bonys arse all the way to St. Helena, with the Wellington boots he invented.

C'mon Brighton fans, be proud, we are going up automatically, it's better to die on your feet, than live on your knees!
Etc, etc,etc

I dont agree with this idea Burnley have tough/tricky games left, they should be a given for QPR at home and Charlton away and Dyche will have them fired up for tonight, i think they'll win all 3 and no reason why we cant, and should we end up in play-offs, we've got a better TEAM than the previous two occasions.

Why? Truth hurts? What part of my post isn't true? And do they really hate us? It's not arrogance or over confidence,it's just the truth, we are the form team in the division, and, therefore we shouldn't be scared of any of the teams we have yet to play. Do you think Hughton is telling our players they aren't as good as the other teams, that we are lucky to be where we are? Terry Phelan got slagged on here for under rating us, so, I imagine a lot of our support agrees with me

Actually. The vast majority of other fans I've met recently are all hoping we get promoted - Don't know where you get the 'all other clubs fans hate us' from.

Easily?

We could finish behind Derby too but I "predict" we'll finish above both of them ... not written off 2nd yet either!
Obviously top 2 is the dream, but while Hull are pretty unlikely to finish above us and Burnley, they could pass one of us.
