I hope Bensgrandad enjoyed himself[/QUOTE

You would never find me at such an event as I pay to watch players play for Brighton for which they are handsomely paid not socialise with them but I am glad that all who attended it enjoyed it. Each to their own. Did he mention what he was going to do when he was inevitably released at the end of the season,.

Wow. At least that's the prize for the stupidest, most churlish post of the year sorted (amongst some pretty stiff competition, mostly from yourself). Well done.

Just far enough away from LDC
Akcherly, I've been banging on about him all season.

But no-one listens...

It's like pizza and oregano. Nobody appreciates how good oregano is until it's not there

You have not been charged for this analogy

Ah, someone else seeing the light.

Dale Stephens is absolutely vital to our side. I love the man.

I know a few people that will win a nice sum of money when (yes, when) he plays for England. They have been confident for a few years that with the time and space you are given in the Premier League he will be even more incredible

I also don't think Dale is an unsung hero. Loads has been written on here about how the midfield axis of insane quality is one of the main reasons we are where we are.

I think Stephens had a bit of a wobble form-wise a few weeks ago for a couple of games, but he's been back to his best of late. He's vital. Really looking forward to seeing him against his old club on Saturday, he'll be WELL up for it.

Oh, and BG...Your post stands out on this thread like a turd on a picnic blanket. Have a word with yourself.

Is that a poster or an invitation card? If it's a poster any chance that I can purchase a copy? It's just brilliant and unusual and damn cool, and I would put it up in our lounge - my wife might then leave me. But hell, art is art.

This is the artwork for the front of the card we did for him. Everyone signed it, and we presented it to him.

Some people who post on here are DILLons.

Back to subject of the thread, I am glad the evening went so well and that many were given the opportunity to PARSLEY the thyme with Calde.

Sage words.

Sounds a brilliant evening paying tribute to my favourite Albion player since Lawro - wish I could have been there!

You don't want anything to do with him (your personal matter) but you want to know what he's up to next (his personal matter)?

In short, given your attitude to the whole caper, what's it got do with you?

If you really wanted to know, rather than gobbing off from the sidelines, you could have come along and asked him yourself.

Brilliant response!! As has already been said - just want to say well done for organising such an event, just gutted I couldn't be there.

Simply because I like to know what happens to all ex BHA players the fact that I dont go into fan adulation for any player is totally immaterial.

BG, It's the fact you voiced it on this thread that makes it material.

As it happens, I would normally agree with you regarding the adulation of players who are paid very handsomely for what they do. But not THIS player.

He has given more back to the Club and Community than anyone I can think of (Apart from Tony of course)
