Sorry, I'm having a thick moment. If Burnley and Boro draw tomorrow and we win all our remaining games then wont it be down to goal difference, with ours being inferior by -8 at the moment.

If they draw tomorrow and we win ALL our remaining games including at Boro, then we will have 93 points, Boro could get a maximum of 92 (IF we win there).

Absolutely every fibre of Hughton's being would seem geared up to winning the next match.

Burnley know that a draw against Boro and win the rest of their games, they are up. But beat Boro and they can take that draw against Preston, so I'm sure they'll go for it. Boro can lose this one, but win the rest of their games they are up, not sure if a point changes the dynamic much for them.
