The punishment is over and we now know that the playoffs is our only hope and must improve fast :)

Hey it was just one game. Admittedly we have made it difficult for ourselves, but we could still make the automatic places. That game at Ashton Gate on Tuesday becomes even more important now though.

No injuries or sendings off, and TBH our goal difference is never going to get us over the line anyway. Hope we've used up our bad luck in one game

The pluses are that i'd rather see a bad performance against Cardiff than Burnley, Derby, Middlesborough or Leeds.
Hughton will see that playing two similar players in midfield does not work and too many changes as well.
We have got rid of a lot of mistakes all in one game.
Bong is getting nearer to returning.
Rosenior has got minutes under his belt.
And hopefully Knockaert will get back to his best next game.

Was really surprised we elected to play with the extra midfield player today. Fine if we are trying to keep things tight and hoping not to lose the game, but surely we wanted to win it?

Surprised too that Skalak was given a start leaving Murphy on the bench, and where was LuaLua? I've never been a fan of tinkering too much with a winning team. irrespective of us playing another game so soon after this one.

Only pluses I can see are that a) we don't have to play in that ever-shitty Welsh weather again this season, and b) and the manager finally told the players to look to pass the ball forward in the second half, unlike the rubbish instructions for the first half where they were patently told to play the ball backwards at every opportunity even when 3-0 down and the manager never admitted he'd got it wrong and never attempted to salvage something earlydoors. Pitiful really, and utterly unworthy of a team with automatic promotion aspirations.
Just won't do. :nono:

Stephens scoring is a plus, as is Rosenior's return.

What we MUST do, is put this performance, and the result behind us NOW, and move on swiftly to Tuesday.

In many ways thank goodness we have another game so quickly, it gives us a chance to bounce right back.

Rosenior is back (sorry Inigo but you really were poor)
Baldock is back
CH please don't try different formations again 442 works for us (I thought we were back in the game in the second half until their penalty)

Was great to see Rosenior back, although I thought he'd injured himself again with his first touches.

Only positive is hopefully, we will never see that line up and formation ever again.

Hughton has been great this season, but sorry to say, he ****** up with that today.

No positives on the field at all. Showed more that Kayal ,Murphy and Hemed were missed - we can't start everyone every game though- also make me think a loan market mi e may be needed

A big plus for me, is that for the first time in years, I decided not to go. I saved my money, time and Saturday.

Found a pub in the centre of Cardiff that sells Craft beers and a range of pork pies, and hopefully Hughton has realised we should never play 551 until Middlesborough away.
