I hate it when players/managers/pundits refer to winning football matches of referring to their football club. We know the f'ing sport! We didn't think you were pissing bowls players!

For some reason, it REALLY winds me up.

Oh agreed. Same on the radio. Certain presenters continually talk about ........ FOOTBALL CLUB. Listen, tit, when you say 'Chelsea' or 'Everton' or whatever, on your football programme, we know what you mean.

Americanisms get my goat.

"The Go ahead goal" is probably my least favourite. Closely followed by "zero zero" instead of 'nil nil' and "Uniform" when referring to the players kit.

There's only ****ing one of each. It'd be very confusing if two or more teams had the same name.

See also the pluralisation of players names, which is equally annoying. Although at least there could be a few exceptions: Ronaldo, for example.

Arsenal Fútbol Club is an Argentine sports club from the Sarandí, it usually called as Arsenal de Sarandí. The club was founded on January 1957. Arsenal de Sarandí currently plays in Primera División, and has won its first Primera División championship in 2012.
