If someone wants to cancel their dd because of the new upgrade rules. Then the club took them to court. I would support the individual.
If they didn't inform the club of their intentions, I wouldn't.

Id need the full story from both sides to make that decision. Its a credit agreement and if theyve chosen to cancel without notifying the club then its a breach of the contract. If the club have changed the t and c then I would perhaps see it differently but as the t and c stated upgrades were discretionary any change appears to be in tightening up a loophole rather than in wording.

Without checking I thought the T&C implied every upgrade was at the club's discression ? ???

Where does it state that a season ticket can upgrade as many times as he wants?

Yeah, "effectively"...

They've been allowing it for four seasons, so legally there is clear precedent. T&C's will of course state that they can change the rules at their discretion but doubt that would stand up in court in the face of this precedent. But I'm not a judge.

Was the ST policy different in the pre-Amex days though?

If his kids can't go to many matches why not just buy tickets on a match by match basis?

This has possibly been answered. Where are the kids going to sit? By themselves if we don't buy St. Or we have to ask other people to move for us. Sorry mate can you move I have bought my kid along, one of the ids has just turned 5 the other is 9.

I'm sure there are other circumstances where changing the upgrade system is not beneficial to the club or fans.

"Hello, Albion ticket office"

"Yeah hi. I have a season ticket. I want to bring my two kids on Saturday. Can you transfer my seat to one nearby where there are three together, and sell me the two extra U10s please"

"No problem. What is your fan number?"

"Its <insert fan number>"

"Thanks... That's all done. That'll be £22 please"

REALLY not in the SLIGHTEST bit difficult, honestly.

Don't forget the admin fee and possible the difference in price for your ticket if different.

No admin fee to move seats, and no price difference if in same area.

(I did miss out the 15 minutes of "Your call is important to us" though...)

I've moved a few times and never paid an admin charge if I moved ,to sit with non-STH friends (buying the non-STH tickets in the same transaction) - is this new?
