After the season we've had so far, can't see Tony not splashing the cash. Next season will be even harder to get promoted if the likes of Sunderland, Newcastle and Villa end up getting relegated. The competition is much more even in the Championship this season.

There's the usual caveats, "stiff competition..as hard as possible...notoriously difficult" but they are usually even more cautious about January business. "Generally January is not a place I like to do business " is Bloom's usual mantra.
