Goldstone. Brighton 0 Stoke 0. I was there. Oddly I kept coming back for more.

Didn't we have a succession of 0-0s with Stoke in the early '80s? To the extent that a bunch of Albion fans wore pyjamas to the Victoria Ground (in anticipation of the dull spectacle). We, inevitably, lost 0-3. I was there.

I was at Hereford when Peter Ward scored after 50 seconds on his debut.

Me too on the east terrace with my dad.

I was also at Highbury to see Jimmy Case score in the FA cup semi final.

Sat wasn't quite up there with Case but it was great to be in the SWC and shut the Charlton fans up in the best way possible.

I was also there when we played Derby County in the League Cup and Charlie George was through on goal only to be thwarted by Peter Grummitt, and the whole 33,000 crowd (or so it seemed) joined in with the chant of:

Charlie Charlie Charlie George
Charlie George Charlie George
Charlie Charlie George Charlie Charlie George

....Oh w**k w**k w**k w**k w**k
w**k w**k w**k....

Stuart Munday's wonder goal at Leicester 20 years ago in the League Cup, when LCFC were a new Prem outfit, and we won 0-2. I was there.

Away, last Sunday of the season, at Grimsby, (Hinselwood season) we were all but down but so many made the long trip to Grimsby, great to see! (We lost, Stoke won, we went down)

I was there. That was also the last time before Zamora scored for the Albion before he returned.

I think the last home game was Watford and we absolutly spanked them, Palace had Stoke and beat them which got a huge cheer around the ground.

If we had managed to stay up that season it would have been some turn around.

I'm fairly sure you're right and I got stuck with two of them. I would only have been about 9 or 10 at that time. That's no way to fall in love with game.

I thought we drew 2-2 that day?

As for the night before in Cleethorpes

"Will you buy me a drink"

"Err.....why"

"I have four kids and I can't afford to buy myself one. Do you have any kids"?

"Yes"

"Why can't their father buy you a drink"?

"Two of them are inside and the third is out at sea for a week"

"Sorry no"

"Where you from"

"Brighton"

"Go on buy me a drink and I'll take you outside after. I've never f**ked a Cockney before".

I was there when Barry Butlin scored the goal of his career.

I was there when we clinched promotion away at Plymouth.
