Red Hot Chili Peppers - BloodSugarSexMagik - synonymous with starting to play music with mates, playing these songs was insanely fun.

At 13 years old I couldn't stop listening to Erasure's Wonderland. Still love the album now. And somehow I didn't turn gay...

Think I got an Erasure album for either BDay or Xmas from my parents each year until at 16 in 1991 after 'Chorus' was released I had to put a stop to it......who needs love like that!?

In 1991 my next phase came immediately with Pearl Jam releasing Ten (Nevermind I jumped on shortly after).

Confusing year for me 1991....

The biggest album that resonates with me and a certain period of my life is Hot Fuss by The Killers.

End of college and start of uni. Have to listen to the whole album when I put it on.

Guess it would have to be News of the World by Queen, I would have been 12. I sort of liked Queen from hearing Bohemian Rhapsody a couple of years earlier, but NotW was the first entire album of theirs I listened to and was instantly hooked as a fan.

The diversity of the songs on the same album is fantastic from the hard rocking Sheer Heart Attack, through the ballardy Spread Your Wings, jazzy All Dead, All Dead and Sleeping on the Sidewalk, bluesy My Meloncholy Blues and the anthemic We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions. A brilliant album.

Spread Your Wings is still my favourite Queen song to this day.

It's tempting, but I'll stick with the Purple One from Dirty Mind through to Lovesexy - a triumph series of classic albums. Aren't you going to add Pelican West though?

No.

I will add Sisters of Mercy though.

Tough one. I'd have to say The Best Of The Beatles.

Another one for Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, although I prefer Hunky Dory now.

probably Slipknot's self-titled 1st album. Turned me from a recently converted indie kid to a metal lover
