It's around half a Marshall. A Mars or a hall. Not both anyway.

Surely the Aussie contemporary music man is a better option and a much cheaper Ben Marshall?

It's funny but we appear to be linked with almost exclusively professional northerners who really won't want to upend their predictably young families away from friendship roots or schools.

Are southerners more expensive?!

No, but more likely to come. We go for the players that won't come , then it looks to the fans that were going for top talent.

Massive Wednesday appear to have bid 3 million for Marshall as well.

If they turned down a reported 3 mil from us, why would someone else bid the same?

A lot can depend on how the proposed payment is structured (it's rarely all the cash up front) but in this case it's probably down to it being the Venky's doing the selling and there is no rationale in their thinking whatsoever :lolol:

Blackburn Rovers have signed Swansea City winger Modou Barrow on a three-month loan

Things could be moving with this move?
Bozza did suggest he was a 'former' target yesterday in a tweet (I think)... Unless Bburn come back and accept our last offer, I can't see us going higher...

Or £3m is the benchmark and they wanted to sign a replacement first...and then Wed got whiff of it and offered the same? As he has history with them you would think they are in the driving seat now.

As they're Sheffield Wednesday  you'd think they're in the driving seat for any player...

Depending obviously on where lives, presumably in the country and not in Blackburn he may not have to move house if he signs for Wednesday as the drive over Snakes Pass is quite good generally except when and if the snow comes.
