Pub pre Sussex CCC Match?

Usually a fountain of knowledge on here,

I haven't been out in Hove for a while and out this evening with a group of mates.

Any suggestions on decent pubs within 15 minutes walk that will have the Ashes and possibly Wimbledon on too?

Thinking of spending afternoon in beer garden and pub pre Sussex match

The Palmeira is pretty decent these days. Sport on the TV and some nice craft ales amongst the usual fayre. Then there is Hove Place which IIRC actually has a tv in the garden or at least has done in the past.

Mine too, but no telly for the Ashes

Palmeira would be ideal

The Albion or Blind Busker would be other options

Palmeira will definitely have the Ashes on, beer is good. And very close to the ground.

Blind Busker is decent for the sport. Food is a bit pricey, but then its bang opposite GFC, who do a luverly chicken in a bun (just check for mouse droppings).
