So you'll agree that those castigating UKIP recently for not having any ethnic minorities in their literature are way off the mark ?. Yes or no will do .

There's a huge difference between having supporters (you know, people who choose to follow a party) of a narrow ethnicity (albeit from an extremely small selection in one photo), and explicitly stating that your party's policies favour and/or neglect certain ethnicities.

As far as I'm aware, the Green party have no policies that do this.

I am voting UKIP, but I agree that he shouldn't have said that about the Gurkhas.
For some balance, If that site is going to do UKIP then they should focus on the other parties too. There are more good people in UKIP than there are bad and that's the same for all parties.

Who are the good ones? Who are the bad ones?

OMG there are no ethnic people among the Green party activists of this city? How many ethnic activists are there in the Green Party in Brighton. They need to be exposed, if only for making UKIP supporters feel like victims.

UKIP is a party standing on a "tough on immigration" ticket. If you can't see that UKIP might need to pay particular attention to it's ethnic make-up in it's photo opportunities given the implications of that policy (in contrast to the Greens), you're being a bit of a clown.

What you're doing is the equivalent of showing a UKIP candidate driving around in a Hummer. Then when people react in a way to suggest it doesn't matter, you would whinge that it seems to matter if it's a Green party candidate.

I had a discussion with a UKIP parliamentary candidate on the doorstep the other day, and he was definitely not racist ( he is a second generation Indian) but his gripe was with all the Eastern Europeans coming into the country and taking local jobs.....so in effect he was a anti white racist. I am not sure why the press haven't picked this one up, as UKIPs argument is not based solely on black and brown immigration!

Basically if you read the Green Manifesto, as forgotten by that Aussie leader, it reads like the communist/ socialist workers party manifesto....tax the rich, renationalise everything,...that sort of thing

I would have remind him of all the Polish pilots who helped us win WWII.

Not one single ethnic minority in this picture..............View attachment 65021

Is the bloke next to the huge ginger haired lass being a tad sexist by having his arm around her? This is 2015 and that sort of behaviour is just unacceptable...a bit like the bloke in red slacks!

Third from the left.....is that the beginnings of a Mohican? And the bloke behind him, 4th from the left looks like a VERY SCARY MAN.

I don't think anyone has done that have they? Mainly, they are being castigated for their policies.

Does the party have many ethnic minority members among its ranks? I volunteered on behalf of Save the Rhino at the London Marathon last Sunday. There were 50+ runners, probably around 20 volunteers and plenty of friends and family. I took a look around me towards the end of the day and noted that aside from a Nepali family the group was a sea of white faces. It does seem that conservation seems to be a middle class pursuit: the type of thing that you have time to concern yourself with if you are fortunate enough to love a comfortable life. Is it collective white guilt? Does that make either organisation racist? I don't think so but both could probably be more representative of the wider community.

In any case, I don't want to beat up on Save the Rhino. I'm proud to volunteer for them. They have many committed people that help underwrite a lot of great work. So there.
