I remember when she was going out with GB and she used to sit in the Hartington not saying a word.

So why not?

I think you are all being a bit hypocritical.

If you all had no brains, big tits and zero moral scruples then you would do exactly the same thing.

Did you also know she got caught driving around without insurance :annoyed:

i was watching one of those police programes , the police pulled over katie because she had no insurance. Then when the police came back to the car , the police lady said, this happens all the time with katie , she thinks because she's famous the rules dont apply to her.

so ad that to the benifits and a picture is being panted.

p,s i just want to clarify that i still would,

I haven't read the whole of the thread and apologise if I am repeating what someone else might have said, but ...

Any child with a disability who is attending a special school designated as appropriate by the local authority will receive free home to school transport, if the disability is deemed to warrant this. The income of the parents is irrelevant. The transport MUST be provided free of charge.

This isn't a "benefit" that has to be claimed. It's a right that is protected by the same law that offers free education to every child that qualifies. And all children qualify for free education. It's one of the things that contributes to a civilised community.

As an aside to the main discussion, I used to be responsible for providing free home to school transport to the McCartney children when they attended Thomas Peacocke School at Rye. They qualified on the simple grounds that they lived more than three miles from the school and travelled on the school bus.

Basic sum here I know: IF the cost is £1000 a day
5 school days a week
42 school weeks a year?
12 years of education age 4 to 16
Total cost £2.52million

Given that her earnings are said to be around £40m, spread that over 10 years, roughly estimated she has paid in £1.1mill in national insurance taking into account a £4m per year earnings. Based on paying 9% upto £40k and then 2% for everything earned above that (which is how I interpret it on the government website?) And then roughly an extra £17m in income tax (assuming she pays).

Now, taking all that into account, i've come to the conclusion that it doesn't actually matter how much she earns, or pays in tax, because it's a disabled child and he has the right to an education. It's not his fault ffs. If his mother was a benefit scrounger we wouldn't be having this conversation, so why should it matter? The people who get paid to drive him pay tax as well so probably around half that money she pays is redistributed as tax / NI as well. So the real life cost is lower. Blame the council for closing all the nearby schools if you have to blame anyone. How the entire county of sussex cannot provide a suitable school is ridiculous.

"KATIE Price has responded to criticism..."
That's impressive, given that she's in the BB house and knows nothing of the criticism outside of the house.

I know it's her team that's responding, but they shouldn't say "KATIE Price has responded to criticism..." when she's not even in a position to vet what her team are saying, she knows nothing about it.

Apparently her son Harvey needs a daily taxi to school, accompanied by a nurse. This, according to Price, is "paid for by the government" (ie you and me).

When challenged on this by Katie Hopkins, in that perhaps she could probably afford to pay for this herself privately, the response was "that would be f-king ridiculous, it would cost up to a grand a day!". Quite apart from the slightly dubious claim of it costing THAT much, this is coming from a multi-millionaire (estimated fortune of £40m), who will pick up the thick end of £150k just for loafing around in the CBB house over a couple of weeks.

How, in the name of Holy Guacamole FRIG, does she qualify to have state-funded transport for her child to school ? Seriously, I have not the words, and this has sent me to bed angry. Could she not sell her tacky pink Land Rover, or one or two of her horses to help with this heinous expense ? Well, apparently not.

I know its my own fault for putting CBB on tonight, and I'm not proud of it. But I was bored and faintly curious, and that plastic vacuous slut just made made jaw drop with this off-the-cuff revelation.

UN. Believable.

A Thousand quid a day..........Where does katie price get that figure from and if that is what she is getting in benefits for it then the benefits officer who OK'd this needs sacking. I gurantee you could have a privately appointed nurse , who could do this for a maximum of £100 per day.

I have a relation who receives day care from the State and cant work due to disabilities and his carer is only allowed to spend a max of 10 minutes with him before moving on to the next patiient.

I have no problem with the young lad having a carer paid by the state as every disabled child should be entitled to it. Even the child of Katie Price but if she herself is claiming that level of income then it is benefit fraud because I guarantee she is not paying someone £1000 to do it unles it is a relative, which I wouldnt put past her

As her spokesman pointed out it is an entitlement of anybody with a disabled child irrespective of wealthy or otherwise. The £1000 quoted is not the cost to the government but the ESTIMATED cost if it was done privately. That may well be an over estimate.
