Oscar

Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
The only one of consequence was us.
Tel Aviv to us a bigger job
Us ??
Watford health problems.
Tel Aviv family safety had detiorated due to political situation fully understandable.

He left Tel Aviv saying he wanted to be nearer home, but then came to England.
He walked out on us.
He walked out on Tev Aviv again (he must have known what it was like the first time around)
He walked out on Watford and his health problems were eventually diagnosed as stress not heart.

Hypothetical question really but do you think he would have stayed if TB had sacked Burke at the end of last season?

It may be memory playing tricks with me but wasn't Oscar pretty alien to the whole player recruitment side of things anyway? I don't recall it being stated anywhere (other than on here somewhere I would imagine) that his departure had anything to do with Burke...of course, I could be wrong...

I must admit to being a bit surprised too when he went back to Israel. Like you say, he must have known that the security situation was going to be a bit dicy at best.

In fairness, Brighton is closer to Spain than Tel Aviv is.

I'll never forget this club specially the last match against Nottingham to qualify for the playoffs. One of the happiest moments of my life.

If someone can turn that club around they would be considered a legend up there.

.......and hated just about everywhere else!
I would hate it if Oscar took a dirty job like Leeds. Everything about the club has had the whiff of corruption for the last decade at least

So you're saying his health problems were an excuse?

What a crap report.

We hit the post three times and missed a few other chances. Granted we were fortunate the other end but outplayed we were not especially the second half.

Disagree. We were ouplayed for all of the first half and much of the second. The best team certainly did not win today .... but we need our share of luck.

This. According to BBC Sport whilst we had an equal number of attempts on target they had nineteen shots to our eleven and restricted us to just 39% possession. Of course this only made the victory sweeter but if we're to make any progress this season we're going to have to take charge of more games, we won't get so lucky all the time.

Love the man, reading his Twitter and the affection he, seemingly, has to us makes me smile.
Top bloke, such a shame he felt he had to walk
