Pity, I thought he could have taken them lower given more time.

Any new manager must feel wary of working with Parish, that is the sixth full time manager in his short reign.
Surely his reputation for interference must put a lot off working for him.
I really can't see Pulis going back and it will be interesting to watch Parish make his January signings

palace fans poll on BBS, Pulis is overwhelming favourite and some talk of Parrish firing warnock (ready for new man) as part of him selling up the club??

Parish will go the Ron noades route and pick the side

The pulis contingent that were brought in last window might look for the exit?

Surely they have someone lined up before the axe was wielded?

Warnock was always going to be a short-term appointment at Palace. They only appointed him as a last resort after previous targets fell through for one reason or another. Warnock's track record of never having kept a team up in the Premier League becomes a problem with the team flirting with the relegation zone approaching the New Year and he has spent too much time blaming referees for recent results when his own shortcomings have been there to see.

Wonder if, despite the obvious need to get a proven Championship manager in (and I'm not saying it should necessarily be Warnock btw)... whilst we've all got candy floss in our innocent little hands, gazing at the good old English managerial merry go round, wide eyed in wonderment at the flashing lights, the music playing in our ears, trying to decide which carriage or horse would be best to ride on, Tony isn't even in the same fairground as us and has no intention of giving us the money for a go as he's already off down some back street foreign bazaar raking over the stalls chocked full of exotics in the hope of unearthing a gem that no one else has spotted yet?

This waiting to see which ride we'll be chucked on next is more exciting than Christmas.

Tony Popovic is the front runner.
Ex player. Good coach. Good long term option. Hopefully his lack of experience would go against him with half a season to turn it round.....

With Warnock sacked, and a few other prem managers soon to be on the way out (West Brom & Leicester potentially) it means our Tony will have to act even quicker to get ths right man.

This will hopefully force T.B to act quicker.

Warnock's days in the dug out are gone now. The last 2 jobs he has done at Palace and at Leeds have not been a success and the job before that he would have taken QPR down had he not been fired when he was. He's been a good manager in the lower divisions but time rolls on and Warnock hasn't rolled with it.

Unfortunately likely, let's hope lightening doesn't strike twice.

I'm sure his 'Houdini act' will fail at some point........ I was worried it might be with us, now I hope it's with you :) (sorry!)
Didn't he say his marriage suffered as a result of the grief he had from Parish? He also walked just before the start of the season, which indicates real anger and annoyance at what was going on. Parish won't accept he was in the wrong by going for pulis and I can't believe pulis will return with other premiership jobs about to appear. I would be less surprised to see him here than at palace and that's saying something!

its to late now, a club at the foot of the championship, to have any hope of a Pulis type, needed to act instantly. the fact Pulis hasnt signed and the Palace job is available means its already to late...... but hey ho, Barber can enjoy the thorough process of talking and interviewing through the new year.

snooze you lose...... a day late and a dollar short as always
wtf are we waiting for??? 2 excellent candidates waiting, we haven't got time to **** about, give em what they want and let's get on with it................ Unless of course they have turned us down already

If CPFC2010 are seriously considering selling up and cashing in on their investment the number one objective is staying in the Premier League.
