Paul Barber's programme notes

Guy Fawkes people are disgruntled because whilst the club preaches its "One club one ambition" mantra, and continues to charge top dollar, it is patently FAILING right now in the single most important area - on the pitch. Player recruitment has been absolutely catastrophic, we've replaced quality with journeyman junk on the cheap, which has resulted in a squad so STUFFED full of loan signings we can't even fit them all in on a matchday. That's unheard of, and is indictative of the chaos that's pervading at the club right now. The manager seemingly has no clue how to arrest this slide, and there's a very real chance that we're going to be 5 points adrift of safety in the relegation zone in a few hours time.

That not based on rumour, or supposition, or not knowing whats going on behind the scenes. Its based on what every single fan can see with his or her own two eyes when we look out on that pitch and see how far we have fallen back as a team from where we were. This hasn't happened overnight, its been a gradual erosion since Gus took off, and has accelerated horrifically with the appointment of the clueless Finn. Now its urgent. Whether we get behind the team or not, if changes aren't made, and quick, then we ARE going down this season. Absolutely no doubt in my mind about it.

Couldn't have put it better myself. Top post!

It's you creating the toxic atmosphere Paul.

Which Paul? Guy Fawkes joined NSC in 2007 so that rules out Barber. The standard of English would suggest it isn't Camilin but there could be something very Dodgy about this poster.

With regard to Palace, that's not actually true. There are a number of bars which remain open after the game has finished at Selhurst Park.

Wasn't aware of that-thanks.

Bozza will be able to assist here. He will have access to IP address history. If the club are disrupting posts from the Amex, he will know. If they are canny they will be using proxies but he will also know if that is the case.

Something tells me that Bozza won't be too interested in sharing such information.

I'd call someone out if I thought there was an ulterior motive.

Camilin used to write a fanzine before he wore a suit, who else wrote that fanzine with him ?

Me, Papa Lazarou, BHA Snappy and Soul Finger primarily.

Thanks Greens :(
It's a shame the club spend so much time fire-fighting fan's concerns, that any other issues, like the footy, become secondary. There must be a philosophical concept similar, or a Greek tragedy along the same lines?

I shouldn't need to if it wasn't for such stupidity and negativity that is potentially very damaging to this club.

How many people do you think get put off going by this sort of comment and that there is something wrong at the club and the underlying feeling of discontent? - quite a few but the ones doing it seem to think they are acting in the clubs best interest when in fact they are doing the exact opposite by creating a toxic atmosphere.

How does looking for any little comment like this to twist constructive to the clubs long term future?

I have read comments where Bloom who has invested hundreds of millions into the club is supposedly as bad for this clubs future as Bill Archer and co who invested the square root of sweet FA. That the club is in a bad a shape as the bad old days and other untruths like the board don't care or doing nothing to help the team despite spending more on loan players like Bent.

Honestly, what more could they do to show they are infact the opposite of what some fans are claiming they are?

Some people just seem to like to protest and campaign and constantly have a hate figure and it seems that this is what football is all about to them rather than just watching a match in great surroundings and getting behind the team.

So with that all the blame lies with sami ?
Personally i think the whole club needs to take a good look at themselves. But sammi is making it worse as he can't manage a football team

He can only manage with the resources he is given which is entirely the fault of the recruitment team who are completely useless, Burke should be sacked

I agree with you . But sami should be getting more from this team than 1 win in 14 games.

Is there anything that is going on at the moment that you are unhappy with? Genuine question.

For the whole lot we'd probably get around £2M resale value
