I'm staggered that an acceptable loss of £13 Million is even being discussed in the second tier of English football. Unbelievable really.

How can the likes of Tony Bloom, a very wealthy man, keep a club like ours competitive without outside investment?

Funding a £13m loss is what clubs don't have to prove where the money has come from. The actual figure that clubs will be allowed to lose will be £39m, which will require secure funding.

Funding the first £13m is small change compared what other owners may be prepared to put back in their clubs, so that is just a minimal starting figure for TB.

Its about time a club went out of business and ceased playiing football.

It's happened to a fair few lower league teams...the problem is, the bigwigs at the top just don't give a shit about them.

This is what's depressing about football these days-talking about debts of £13 Million as being small change. Maybe the North American model for sport isn't that far off for us because the current one isn't sustainable

I notice that once again the opportunity to ask the club what Dick Knight did with the 1983 cup final was missed.

With the permitted loss jumping up to £13M the player's wage demands which have been reined in will now escalate again.

He's hidden the entire final?

They haven't really been reined in have they? In our case it has been more like off-loading high earners and refusing to pay silly money ensuring we miss out on just about every player available.

Being allowed extra losses won't help us one bit if Burke is still the man who is spending he money. All it means is greater flops and bigger wastage.

But that doesn't stand up to scrutiny though. Just look at Palace Derby, Watford, us and Burnley in last two seasons

Getting rid of the high earners tells the remaining squad members not to be too greedy when a new contract offer is on the table. The ****ing money grabbing agents will now be getting their calculators out.

Football clubs are just billionaire fashion accessories. It doesn’t really matter who owns the club as long as they have more spending power than the previous owner.

Swansea are partially owned by the supporters' trust, so it can be done the 'right' way

They are unique in this though. They came up with the right model, at the right time and with the right people involved. I don’t think their success will be ever be repeated by anyone else.

We seem to shy away from supporters even having worthless token gesture shares, let alone any serious involvement.

TB's stated policy is to be self sufficient regardless of FFP. Whilst the permissible losses were coming down to reasonable amounts then we could hope to compete. We simply won't compete against teams who are happy to go £13 000 000, over

We'll simply have to buy Bloom out, and bankrupt ourselves, ourselves.

I pledge £10.
