I had only £2.39 in my Paddy Power account on Tuesday so I put it all on Albion to win. The resulting £7-odd has gone on another victory today. I shall continue this for Swindon and Charlton and then have a blowout with my £15-odd at the end of August.

Elland Road was quite simply joyous. Easily one of the best performances sine we got out of Div 3. Who cares if it was more about how crap they were than how good we were?

For the time being What's not to get excited about?

I'm mid 50s and have been up since 6. As you youngsters would say ... Buzzin!

Game day! I just love em! Work all week putting up with all kinds of nonsense, then game day arrives and it's time for me to escape from my everyday life and to channel all my attentions onto the Super Seagulls! Come on you Blues!

We are going to make hard work of beating a shithouse side. 2-0 to the good guys though, and a P45 for the droopy-eyed Palace prick.

Felt very down before the Sheff Weds game, left the Birmingham game thinking we would be in for a season long struggle. After Tuesday's result I am very very enthusiastic about this afternoon. Of course it could go pear shaped but unlike Frutos I have a good feeling about today, in fact I am quite excited about today's game.

Got to love how one result in football can change everything.

As said elsewhere, esp in the 'is anyone else excited?' thread :eek:h-handbags:

I didn't think I could get any downer than Wednesday  and then I listened to Brum.
Had Leeds been more of the same I may well have found something else to do.

As it is, I now can't wait to see T'Shearer, The Hollacopter, and someone other than Calde (gawd bless him) at left back.
And specifically from the Danny Holla thread
It's getting quite hard to contain my excitement at seeing him play.

Partly because of the report in blog section.
Articles like the above.
Reports from Elland Road.
But most importantly on the back of the kicking his signing took in this thread.

well from what brian Owen has tweeted it sounds like they have come to park the bus (5 in defence and two holding midfielders).

gonna have to be on top form (with no decent strikers) to break them down

I genuinely hope you've got it right and I've got it wrong.

We need a big performance today, not least because we need the catalyst for some new songs, we've got none left.

Funny what a win can do isn't it. I'm looking forward to today more than I was opening day in some ways. Coming off the back of a great away win, and a couple of what look like half decent new arrivals. Bring it on!!!
