I thought he was very useful and if there were a few more players on the pitch willing to run beyond him other than Lua Lua then he would have been even better. He was always offering for a pass to feet and when anticipating the pass, he would always feel for where his marker was and turn accordingly. His touch was good and the ball didn't bounce off him like certain strikers. Granted when he has to dribble he did look a bit awkward but that probably isn't his best attribute. He probably should have scored but it was a good save too.

I was quite impressed and think he looks like a decent buy, and some of the comments are pretty harsh-he is easily good enough for this league.

Not impressed at all so far. Don't really want to judge after one game but it did feel like we got ourselves a league one striker.

Here
Looked like what he is, an average League 1 player - too slow, poor in the air, poor first touch. Ok, his hold-up play was alright at times but he is a 5-10 goal per year player at this level, if that. Really don't know why we bought him.

Very average player today, absolutely NO pace even less than Ulloa had.
Didn't take his very chances well, but is quite strong at battling to get the ball back and hanging onto it.
But what should we expect for £500,000 ??????
6/10

Looks overweight around the middle.

Now that i think about it you are right, he did a bit.

Was a second or two off the pace for me, physically and mentally.

He'll do a job as part of our strike force but I'd be less than pleased if he was our main striker.

He's exactly the right player we want coming on when 1-0 up, away from home, with half an hour to go.

Starting the first home game of the season, I don't think so.

So in conclusion he's excellent, average, and dreadful. I thought he held it up well, he's slow but was strong and had a good first touch. With better service I think he'll be a decent asset.

A lot of people on here really are morons, he looked good. Held the ball up really well at times with some really
Good movement.

He will score at least 15.
