Waste of time IMO - they always give the politically correct answers and you learn next to nothing.

For example :
First question tonight - why haven't we got our arse in gear and made some decent signings this summer and why leave everything so late?
Answer - "We are working hard behind the scenes - don't underestimate the lack of activity for a lack of desire to bring new faces in - hold this space"

Call me facetious but I'm pretty sure that answer doesn't fall within the definition of "politically correct".

I'd say the question is the stupid issue. Does somebody seriously expect the club to discuss confidential ongoing transfer negotiations with a bunch of fans??

I don't think you mean "Politically correct". Unless you think it's not worth going to the event because Bloom doesn't blame the trains on the blacks and says the disabled are preventing us getting a new striker.

I'd like to say I do have a question but actually I'm quite chilled about the albion generally atm. I'm philosophical about our promotion chances (but have no fears of relegation) and the transport, food and beer situation is what it is. On and off the pitch the club has never been healthier in my lifetime so I'm just enjoying the ride. Bitching about the lack of a monorail or putting in a bid for Benzema or the pies being 20p more make my skin crawl.

Quite. Which is what makes these meetings pretty much utterly pointless. A chance for a few geeks to try to sound important on local radio.

Personally, I can't think of any good reason to sit and listen to Barber and his pre-prepared drivel. It's an hour out of life you will never get back, and will only serve to fuel him and his sense of self importance. He's fast becoming the new Ken Bates.
