It's probably rubbish but it's fairly obvious Oscar had other jobs lined up when he resigned, said this at the time.

I really don't give a damn where OG ends up. Am I alone in thinking this?

His season came down to one game at Derby and needing to win it, so he started with one striker, showing the opposition his intent. Decided to bring on CMS and KLL when we were two down.It has crossed my mind if jumped before he was pushed as there has been no shock reaction from the club. Perhaps he is a genius, but him using the phylosophies from other countries to work in the UK didn't come off.

I have thought long and hard about the decision to start the second leg at Derby in a defensive frame of mind and I still can't get my head around it. It defies belief that the single most important game in our season should be treated with such indifference and timidity.
It is alarming that no lessons appeared to have been learnt from the away game at Leicester. That was a ' shit or bust ' game and defeat would have resigned us to a certain place outside the top six. On the night, we were positive from the start, even allowing for Leicester being slightly ' hungover ' Tactics and formation were spot on and the resounding victory gave us the platform to push for sixth place.
Who made the decision to throw off the defensive shackles at Leicester? If it was OG, then why the hell didn't he do the same at Derby? If it was other members of the management team, then why the hell weren't they able to persuade OG to employ the same tactics at Derby? The game was screaming out for changes at half-time, to try and throw Derby off their rhythm but sadly, they were delayed long enough for Derby to increase their lead.
The whole management team were to blame. A five year old could have told you what was needed but they chose to ignore the bleeding obvious and try and hold out for 0-0 as long as possible. It was appalling mis-management and calls into question the judgement of all involved on the day.
We would have forgiven perishing on the sword of attacking football but to suffer the heaviest defeat of the season and go out with a whimper was embarrassing and humiliating.
Similarly to Gus, OG has finished poorly and to suggest that a man as inexperienced as him could manage in the PL is nonsense. He needs to go away ( maybe Spain ) and rethink his footballing ethos and strategy. We are all confused by his inconsistency and remain to be convinced that this man is one of the really great coaches of the future.

No he didn't - in fact he said quite the opposite.

My source is probably as good as it gets.

Unless it's the same one that Ernest has, I just don't believe you :dunce:

More complete fiction. Why do people waste their time pondering this sort of crap?

True. A Saints supporting friend of mine suggested Oscar was linked with the Saints job early last week. Therefore it does make you think that many of these "stories" come from rumours (made up or otherwise) posted on message boards and a lazy reporter (Daily Star in this case) spins a story around it with no substance

It might have been three days for f*cks sake. I know he's gone back to Spain. I don't know the exact flight details etc as I'm not a stalker... Some people

lol

You're right he did go back to Spain last week, although I'm pretty sure it was Friday.

No I am not stalking him ;-)

Garcia was clueless here so happy he has gone, tactical genius he is not.

Oh l think he probably has something to offer someone, but perhaps the style of football he likes to play, best suits teams in La Liga. Or perhaps he had reached his level with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Because it's cricket season, because people are bored, because pondering the imponderable is as good as guessing the implausible.

Hey! There's a fly crawling across my screen!

There's a scene in Bottom where there's a 'party' round at Eddie and Ritchie's gaff attended by only Spudgun and Dave Hedgehog. To fill a hanging silence Hedgehog starts talking about a new traffic sign that's been installed in the locality, possibly to indicate a new one way road (I can't remember the full specifics).
