I've noticed a trend which previously has not been mentioned on this forum (to my knowledge).
in 2011/2012 season the table looked like this


this was then followed in 2012/ 2013 by this


and finally the 2013/2014 season ended up looking like this


these tables are all very common to you but what I have noticed is that the last 2 years, the team which finished sixth the previous season went on to won the league the following. this trend was unfortunately broken by reading who finished 5th the season before they won the following season. this stat looks very promising to our season ahead imo and I know its all just superstitions but though it was worth sharing

Both teams had invested a significant amount of money though, more than we will probably be prepared to spend.

Thats the difference, but its a good omen to give some hope for next season.

7th. That's when 4 teams were promoted. Oldham, West ham, Wednesday and Notts County
