Good result, stopped the rot and a few new scorers. Still in the pack for play offs.

Midfield- Ince- Andrews- JFC = Defencive little skill.

Midfield- Stephens- Lualua- March= Pace and more skill.

I don't disagree about Beckham, but until we sign one of the world's greatest dead ball experts, can we stick with the attacking pace players???

Erm, David Lopez was considered to be one of La Liga's finest dead ball experts.

Rightly so too.

Have you watched any games this season just wondered like ...you can borrow my non rose tinted glasses if you like to get a truer reflection, talking out of your arse doesn't help the team

Yes and we can all go and wish our c*cks were bigger, our partners were fitter, our bank accounts were fuller, the sun was shinier, the rain was drier or we can just bloody cheer up and recognise some of the positive aspects and enjoy the journey we are still very much on.

I'm loving the passes Lingard is giving, great at setting others up...a stand out catch having him on loan this season. Great defense all season, but this has come at a cost, great to see Oscar experimenting with more risk. All good. Much to be happy about and look forward too. If you can't see that...get new glasses.

Tunbridge Wells
Scholes - no pace
Zidane - no pace
Gascoigne - no pace

etc etc etc and etc

Yes I know, but we don't have Scholes, Gazza and Zidane....We have KEITH ANDREWS....What's your point???....Why don't you add Hoddle to the list, because he was as good as all them and we don't have anyone half as good as him either.

here hare here
It doesn't matter how long you've followed the Albion. How religiously you attended the Goldstone/Priestfield/Withdean. It doesn't matter how much you campaigned for the stadium. It doesn't matter how poor we've been lately. If you're negative about the current form you're a bad fan. Apparently.

i've highlighted the factually accurate part of the post.

No, it's not that at all. There is a very big difference about being negative about our FORM, and negative about EVERYTHING. Some people want a dozen players out, Barber out, Burke out, Jones out, Oscar out, all the early leavers to come back and then get out again. When we lose a game or two this place is an absolute parody of itself, people are near suicidal. Everyone knows we're playing shyte at the moment but it's just that - AT THE MOMENT. Five games ago we were winning and everyone was talking about overhauling Forest & QPR. Suddenly we're the worst team in the country, if you believe those who scream the loudest, and are noticeable by their absence when we are winning. Bipolar & Hove Albion.

A lot of positives to take from that result. Spanish Rod and Stephens' first goals, March looking tidy when he came on and Kaz getting an assist. Most importantly, 3 goals! This shows that we CAN score. For the past few games the defending hasn't been there, but we've shown over 30-odd games how good we are as a defensive unit. I have total faith that we will get back to our defensive best on Saturday. A must win it is too, and I fully believe that the players can go to Barnsley and get the win!

This. PB has said countless times that we'll go up when we're ready and personally I've never wished we were up in the PL now, rock bottom and shipping goals for fun. OG said last week we have a top half team on mid table finances; the evidence is there that when we go up we should be in a state to maintain it.
