Clear goalscoring opportunity that far out? On that basis, there'd be red cards every match.

Now my memory isn't the best, but the guy would have been clean through coming in from an angle and it was 5-10 yards outside the area. As I said, it was borderline red... I wouldn't have been surprised to see the red, but didn't expect to see one.

You would have hoped we do the same. But once again our fans are blaming the ref, instead of looking at the root of the problem, who was standing with his hands in his pockets looking at his feet for best part of the game.
So Garcia is the root of our problems.....perhaps you could elaborate on a thread with that as a topic

If that had been given then perhaps the Reading player should have gone when bringing down Lopez ..with no one within 20 feet of Ulloa in the middle...i think it was fair that neither were given a red

Just me or was it a straight red? .

Not for me but I was slightly concerned that the ref might get it wrong and send him off as it was a professional foul. All Upson's doing. No need to dive in and leave Greer in that position. I do wonder if the ref had this in the back if his mind as the second booking hardly looked a foul from where I was sitting, let alone a bookable offence. The Reading histrionics didn't help him.

To be honest Greer getting sent off was a blessing - Dunk now finally gets a run of games! Quite enjoyed the second half when we were down to 10 men - no chance we were going to win with 11 players on the pitch. Utterly woeful

It was a very enjoyable 2nd half...and the team showed a heck of a lot of character

Greer only suspended for 1 game, we will miss mr el Abd on Tuesday. Dunk is good for a howler every game giving the opposition at least 1 goal scoring chance.

... and how they managed to get 3 sent off last week but only 1 this week!

Yes i see the first of those last week has been over turned....pity for yeovil that the ref made the mistake in the first place they were on for win....the guy down there is doing a great job on a piddling budget

You may be right. I thought it was a lot further out than that though and fairly wide.

We could have won if Buckley had put his chance away.

Adkins actually looked a bit disappointed by Drenthe's theatrics the attack before he was taken off. If that was why he was substituted, maybe Adkins deserves a little bit of credit...

Of course it may have been unconnected but Drenthe certainly appeared to be playing well enough at the time.
