This could be the longest list ever...

On the subject of your suggestion, it's pretty ridiculous how bloody small everything is when food shopping now. I noticed the other day that the standard size for a block of cheddar seems to have fallen to 350g (it used to be 500g). Such an underhand way of doing business. Also, did you know that the tins of Roses, Quality Street etc. are approaching HALF the size of what they used to be!

To be fair there is a massive obesity problem in this country.

I like Dylan Morgan's view of nostalgia:

"You remember what? WHAT do you remember?! Slavery. That's what. Shut up and eat your biscuits."

One of the biggest increases I would think is in Fish and Chips pre decimal 6d of chips became 6p with decimalisation and now paying £1.20 plus for a portion of chips.

I remember when you couldnt carry £1.20s worth of chips.

Walnut whips used to have a walnut on the top, AND on the base of the inside.
forgot to look for Frys mint cream as well when I was home last.. ;-(

Curly Wurly's. Either they have got smaller in recent years, or my todger has got bigger, and, sadly, I think the latter option isn't true.

If the good old days are the 90s, then they aren't as good as the good old days' good old days, which were the 70s

The 70's can't have been the good old days as even then I remember people talking about the good old days, I'm not convinced the good old days ever really existed.

Children. Now seen and heard and it's okay if they have a massive tantrum in the middle of the supermarket, because little Jacob is merely 'expressing himself.'
