But NOTHING would convince you, would it, because you want to believe that there is some conspiracy afoot, or that everyone running the club is a crook, don't you? Hence your oft-repeated mantra that you don't trust any one of "them".

I'll happily send you the accounts for the last 5 seasons, but you have no interest in knowing the facts, do you? Ignorance really is bliss in your case.

Send him some tinfoil too, to stop 'them' from listening to his thoughts.

Aren't the finances on a year delay, so the figures the club next announce would be for last season.

Last season we still had the same attendance limits as the season before for half the season. The club were still subsidising the travel to a greater degree than they are this season. The club got rid of the caterers halfway through the season because of the drop in people buying food (in the executive area). The club was still tied to several sponsorship deals etc.

So last year's finances weren't that different to the season before, hence the similar losses.

Next season's finances, covering this season should show significantly lower losses with increased capacity, increased fan contribution to travel subsidies, different caterers, reduction of non-playing workforce, etc.

CMS, Ulloa, Bridcutt, Buckley, Upson, Koosh and Greer. Can't think many others are on in excess of 500k

I imagine Vicente, Bridge and Hammond plus a certain former manager were all on a decent Prem /Top Championship level salary in the last financial year plus whatever sign on fees or sweetners were in their contracts? OK most of Wayne Bridge's salary was paid by Man C but I bet the remainder plus any fees still added up.

In the current financial year we have Agustein, Ward, Andrews, Conway and Lita on loan, most of whom are on Prem or top Championship wages so we must still have some hefty wage bills even though we have shipped a few out like Harley, Dicker, Painter, Vincelot etc.

Correct, and wages rose as we had PIG, Leo, Bridge, Hammond and Upson added to the payroll.

I would be interested in seeing the financial accounts for for Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club Ltd rather than the holding company. For instance I suspect that the 67% wages to turnover figure for the holding company would be much higher for the club alone.

Is it the club's figures that are subject to FFP or the holding company's? For example it was mentioned on another thread that the club had not been charged rent for use of the Amex but if all the running costs of the stadium are loaded onto the clubs P&L then what is that if not a virtual rent?

I have the accounts for the club, holding company and The Community Stadium Limited. PM me your email and I can send them over, but there's not much difference.

what the football league needs is a salary cap similar to the nfl. Too many overpaid players killing the game.

Here we go again:-

facts, facts, blah, blah, facts, blah, facts.

You're in it with 'them', what with all the facts you spout.

When will you learn, NOBODY is going to be happy until we are all miserable.

Imagine if the club had to pay for the stadium too.

Last season we started with the East Upper open and South corners. The capacity was about 26k from the off. The average attendance was just over 26k, which is approx a 25% increase so we can expect the ticketing income to have increased to around 10 million.

When are the 12/13 accounts due out; is it next month?

If we lost £8m last year I cannot see how we are projected to lose £8m this year. We have increased income this year by having larger crowds due to increased capacity. Also new shirt sponsors which must have increased income. New caterers which boosted income. Perimeter advertising which increases income. Paul Barbers reduction in costs (£2m a year according to TB ). I believe the cost of the perimeter adverting was in last years accounts ( a one off ). If that is the case we must be losing less than £8m unless we have increased costs in other areas substantially
