Brilliant. Might also explain why the US forces chose the BAE Hawk to be their jet trainer, so clearly doing good for British exports.
Of course the boot is on the other foot with us now buying their F35s, the case for which doesn't seem to be quite as persuasive.

The closest US equivalent is the Blue Angels. Still not a patch on our own Red Arrows.
