As an aside, I'm all for the increasing trend in prisons that forbids convicted inmates from weight training and bulking up. The theory being they should come out of prison humbled and meek, not pumped up and flowing with extra testosterone feeling like the Mac. ****ing right.

Agreed.

I may not like the idea of vigilantism, especially when meted out by another convicted killer, but there is not one sinew in my body that feels any sort of sympathy for this man.

I don't feel sympathy, but I just don't find assault something worthy of a celebration, and find it genuinely a bit perverse that someone would get enjoyment out of someone else's pain, no matters who that person is.

The judge at the trail, Lord Uist, made a statement summing up the case:

“ You have all been convicted by the jury of the racially aggravated abduction and murder of Kriss Donald, a wholly innocent 15-year-old boy of slight build. He was selected as your victim only because he was white and walking in a certain part of the Pollokshields area of Glasgow when you sought out a victim. This murder consisted of the premeditated, cold-blooded execution of your victim by stabbing him 13 times and setting him alight with petrol while he was still in life. It truly was an abomination. The savage and barbaric nature of this notorious crime has rightly shocked and appalled the public. Your victim must have been in a state of extreme terror while held by you during a four-hour car journey across Central Scotland and back, and the agony which he must have suffered during the period between being stabbed and set alight and his death is just beyond imagining.

Baldy got what he deserved.

And i'm sure the lovely chaps who did this to him on behalf of our nation are fine upstanding citizens themselves.

God bless 'em for their brave act.

I remember this shocking story. What they did to this boy touched me at the time.

He deserves everything he gets .

If we all got what we deserved, there wouldn't be one of us left standing.

Really???!!!! I can honestly say that neither me nor anyone I know has ever done anything to the extent that someone would want to lynch me or them!! Very low view of people you have.

For the record I don't take any pleasure in someone being beaten, nasty in any circumstance but I figure if you commit a crime like that you are probably gonna get some shit.

So someone serving life for a cowardly racially-motivated murder of a 15-year-old is battered by someone serving life for the cowardly unprovoked murder of a 20-year-old, and this is what passes for good news in Scotland?

I shudder to think what bad news in Scotland looks like.

You were assuming and mocking what I think

Judging me infact

So you are against judgement being made on you by other posters on NSC based on your opinions. Yet you are in favour of convicted murderers making judgements on what punishments are acceptable for fellow convicted criminals?
