So some of you dislike the royals because some of their ancestors came from Germany. If you dislike people because their ancestors came from Africa you'd be considered a racist. How is this any different?
Every single person born in the Uk could trace their ancestors back to other countries so you should hate everyone you know, including yourselves!

I dislike the royals because they are a bunch of sponging time wasters. Is that allowed?

This makes no sense at all.

Republicans campaign for the abolition of the monarchy, an elected head of state and a new democratic constitution that really puts power in the hands of voters.

We want to reform Britain's politics so it is genuinely democratic
We want a new constitution - a new set of rules for our political system - that puts power in your hands.
We want voters to be able to elect their head of state - instead of having a 'job-for-life' monarch.
We want to give voters more power over parliament and parliament more control over government.
We want a head of state that has a meaningful role and who can be held to account on their record in office.
We want Britain to be a republic.

Under Tony Blair his party wanted a Air force one jet like president Bush, Clinton etc.

Work it out yourself.

Our country would rather spend millions on the royal family than a dictator Blair or buffoon Brown. Millions of tourists flock to our shores to visit the royal family and history and palaces and not some left wing numpties.

Blair is pro-monarch, so there's that.

I think it costs me a taxpayer about £1-50 a year, that's the taxpayers contribution to our Royal Family. I would stop the amount of tax that i pay to keep people that openly hate our country but willingly grab our benefits, plus those that use benefits as a lifestyle, to stop.
The Queen is in her 80's, still gets around the country when most her age have long retired, and apparently if the Royals were a business they would be very successful, bringing in about 2.3 billion in to this country.

Even thou they bring hundred of millions of pounds to the economy every year. Go ahead Muppet, stick up for the losers, the proper scroungers who cost us billions of pounds in hand outs a year. You're probably one of them people who is jealous and is resentful at seeing normal people leading a great life so want them to be on your level.

At least this is pretty witty.

Instead of your one liners and it doesn't make sense posts then please answer my following that I posted above and below to your question. Maybe you're one of these gimps who jump on the bandwagon without engaging their brain before they type.

A "gimp"? And you wonder why I can't be arsed to entertain your right wing drivel. I'm mocking you, pal.

Yes 'Gimp'. You've had ages to debate your republican views as to why we should be for or against but you decide to duck the issue because you haven't a jolly idea what you're talking about. Come back with an argument and we'll have a debate about the minuses and pluses. Till then go and do some research.

Why don't you do that first?

All you've done is give us a myopic, unbalanced view of the 'pluses' without considering the 'minuses'. Of course, if you can't find any 'minuses', it does render your argument pretty meaningless, and all you've done is rant a load of pre-conditioned nonsense without any purpose.

If it were true, perhaps. The truth is that they contribute far more to the government than we give them. We profit from the royal family. Fact!
