reading about the "poo", sounds plausible... but then the clapper fan thing? he wouldnt have known? or know exactly who would decide on such a novelty? gives it away really. i dont think poogate happened anymore.

Meopham, Kent.
No it wasn't. If Poyet had stuck Barnes and Ulloa up front, and put Bridge on Zaha from the start, we could have won that game comfortably. Then people would have talked about the clapper banners contributing to an electric atmosphere.

This.

what play Bridge at right back? anyway he didnt have a choice, clearly Zaha was instructed to go with the weaker full-back. and to be fair, Calderon dealt with him pretty well first half.

The second part of the email seems like a very strange thing to say in an email to all staff, and pretty unprofessional to be honest. I'm also surprised Gus didn't know about, let alone consent to, the clappers being there and who permitted it.

I must be missing something. Is the fact someone done a shit in the Palace dressing room got anything to do with his team selection and negative tactics???

No your mistake is that you think this is all about what you think. No one anywhere has suggested that his suspension has anything to do with tactics and selection but you just go on your own way. Itll probably work out alright for you in the end.

The club can't discuss the Gus suspension as its ongoing, but they should call an urgent press conference to set the record straight re poogate.

They can confirm Gus wrote the email or deny it, if it is fake. Do the club have persons of interest who they would like to chat with regarding this incident? What do they know etc.

Poogate has become an unneeded sideshow to the main issue of Gus & his alleged breach of contract. The club needs to act - Preferably today.

On balance I think the email is genuine. The club employs a lot of people, and there are a lot of friends of club employees suggesting it is real. I don't typically subscribe to this type of gossip but the volume of people means it cannot be ignored in this instance.

I've come back home.
The e mail is real. Believe it or not.

Like others on here, I cannot confirm what happened or that it was sent from Gus himself but it is from a genuine email address - his email. Whether he got hacked or not I have no idea

I have friends who work for Brighton and got email

The fact that the email was sent is not in dispute the fact the Gus wrote it at 1010pm the day he refuses to deal with player contracts, told them that he wouldnt be here next season and that TB nor he knew who suggested and authorised the clappers is tho.

As per oddson, would he have handed his blackberry back?

Dan. I can only say what I have been told and the fact everything else I was told on weds has so far been 100% spot on including the fact he wrote the e mail.

What other facts are there other than those suggested in the email. My point being is that you were told about the email so that is self certifying confirmation as the email exists. You are suggesting that EVERYTHING that has come out this week is true.
