An hour and a quarter before I go to work, it's 4.45am and all still in bed.
All I can add is that Palace looked like they wanted it more, especially in the second half.

WE HAVE COME BACK FROM OBLIVION!!!!
This is nothing.

I agree totally. This loss is nothing and Palace are nothing. I couldn't believe how biased against us the Sky commentary was. Palace have the ability to pull something out of nothing. The boys placed well and next season let's win the league and get automatic promotion!

Speroni was marvellous over the tie. Shame they kept him and got rid of Pyjama wearing Gabor Kirali.

Cmon Watford.

we seemed totally crushed by the pressure of expectation and just didn't play our normal game. Palace deserve a lot of credit though as they played the situation perfectly. great season, sad ending. congratulations to Palace and I sincerely hope they get absolutely raped by Watford. Seagulls!

Fair play to Palace - the better team on the night.

Still, it's been an excellent season all in all.

Roll on August. We'll be stronger than QPR, will probably give Reading a good game, and Ulloa could well be our 20 goal a season striker.

Heads up everyone! :bhasign:

The longer it went on without us scoring was a huge boost for Palace. We really needed to take one of those chances in the 1st half at Selhurst when we were so dominant.

Game over , it's now consigned to the history books. On reflection we've improved since last season and there will be a further improvement next season. I think if we had won then Watford would have slaughtered us in the final but now that will happen to Palace.

Spanish Len will be aiming for at least 30 goals next season as his personal target.

Sick as a dog. Best team won and best player on pitch scored two. Going to my shed now - I may be gone some time.

Well done Palace. That's it til August then. Our most successful season for more than 20 years, not quite enough. Hope we can keep the team together. It's a bit of a bummer, but that's football...

The game descended into an end-to-end cup tie. Not our style at all. This is a team to win leagues, not to get through play-offs. Onwards and upwards next year. In the words of Micky, keep the faith
I hope we can learn from what went wrong and take this into preseason. Get some fresh players in, try out new plans and head level headed into the new season.

Just it was palace....
