Also i was absolutely petrified of wolves couldnt even look at a picture of them. Even used to imagine they were rushing towards the house sometimes and scrabbling up the walls to get me at night when i was out of bed.

Are you going to be ok next weekend at the Amex?

They might be rushing towards you if we send them down :lolol:

Funny you should mention rabies. When I was 5 I was totally freaked out by a scene in 'The Virginian' (will mean nothing to anyone under 50) in which a rabies victim was freaking out and foaming at the mouth. Parents tried to re-assure me that, due to quarantine, this scene was unlikely to be repeated in West Worthing but I wasn't convinced.

The Yorkshire Ripper. I was worried that my Mum had to walk a hundred metres or so to work and was at risk. (No, she wasn't a prostitute!)

Your not wrong there! Take it you must be ex stringer too Do you remember Mr Dudson in CDT used to take the odd PE lesson and put the odd two footed tackle in on the pupils

I barely went in to school for 3 months in the first year, fearful of Mr Dudson. "If you don't know, you don't go." was his motto when quizzing kids before end of class. An ogre of a man for the faint-hearted.

As a child I had a vivid imagination, and was haunted by the image of a miniature witch on a broomstick flying around above my bed at night. I dunno why, but my brain would regularly torture me with this. I'd dive under the covers, then sneak a peak from under the duvet and that tiny witch would still be there, silently and menacingly circling above me. The only thing that would make it go away was if I got out of bed and turned the light on, but that would mean I was EXPOSED to the witch, with no protective blanket to shield me. So I would lay there, frozen with fear, watching that horrific imaginary witch as she circled around....and around...and around....

I never trusted marshmellows either. I put too many in my mouth once and thought I was suffocating.
