"Cheeeeeeel Winston!" The days of 8 thousand Leeds fans invading the Goldstone for their promotion party are long gone, we're not tinpot anymore. Das Booty is firmly on the other foot. The worm has turned. Gonna be great to see Leeds/Wolves squirm.

Even if we lose the next 2, a Cardiff win over Bolton on Saturday gifts us a playoff place, unless there is a 16 goal swing to Bolton over the other matches.

This. Cardiff will beat Bolton

Hmmm - I'm not quite so sure. After we had secured the League One title, we didn't win any of our remaining 4 matches. Cardiff have achieved what they wanted to, Bolton are still battling like mad. (I'm not saying we won't make the play-offs, I just don't think a Cardiff victory is nailed on).

Maybe I'm taking it too seriously, but I was doing the predictor thingy and taking a look at standings after Saturday. I really really don't want to need a result against Wolves. Personally I think Cardiff will be on holiday and Bolton will win there too. Just sayin.

Just as much chance of Leeds being on holiday as of Cardiff being on the beach I reckon.

The way we're playing I can't see us losing at Leeds.

That's different from me. We'll lose the last two games 1-0, I reckon. It might still be enough.

Bizarre. We're ****ing brilliant at the moment, and INCREDIBLY hard to beat. Would be very odd if we suddenly lost 2 games.

Also it feels like tonnes of players are coming into form and fitness at the same time, while we're able to vitally rest tired players. I think we'll look quite a bit fresher than the others in the playoffs.

Well, we played Sheffield Wednesday off the park earlier on in the season, and then suddenly lost our next two games at the Amex. It's been that kind of season. As soon as we look like we've got it together, we hit a ditch. As soon as it looks like the wheels are coming off, we run into a rich vein of form.

I am absolutely convinced we will secure a play off place this Saturday, we may not win but we will not lose and 2 points will be enough however others will also drop points.

I expect Leeds under McDermott to be a much harder match but we're tough to beat and playing well so I take heart from that.

We've had a lot of big games recently where are playoff chances have felt in the balance. By comparison, it's fairly straightforward now. There's a fair chance either Bolton or Leicester will fail to go above where we are now, even without us getting another point.

I'm not counting any chickens yet. So much so that I've not looked up when the play-off dates are.

I still remember 1977/78 season when we were pipped for promotion on goal difference by that fixed game further down the coast. The disappointment was beyond compare.
