You may recall I mentioned the angry little chap who sits behind me the other week. His Barnes hatred reached such a level a few weeks back that he said, without irony, "I f**king hate it when he scores".

Well due to the continued absence of said Mr Barnes last night he turned on Greer. He got so angry about him by the end it was incredible. At one point Greer knocked a ball in to Buckley who missed controlled it - "Greer you are a f**king two-bob c**t" was his loud response.

I dared to question this and was told to "F**k off you melt!"

Some people are very odd.

Bet you must be looking forward to his reaction when Barnes returns vs Blackpool :lolol:

WSU-F seems alright. If anything people around me seem to mock and/or be negative rather than get aggressive

Not bad, but I did get shouted at when I stood up to applaud Hoskins from the pitch when he was carried off (Blackburn?) - guy behind wanted to see the match. Invited him to stand up and applaud too but he wasn't interested.

It does seem to get bad there during cup games when you have lots of one-off attendees - especially v Wrexham last year. People expected a 6-0 or something.

Such a shame Greer's header didn't go in right at the death then. Although I suppose he thought he was shit for hitting the post.

A guy near me was in a proper foul mood, got really pissed off when a man and his kid wanted to go to the toilet. Almost refused to let them out until his wife said he was embarrassing. He didn't say a word to anyone all game, including his missus, then left after 75 minutes.
But I suppose you pay your money you do what you want.

Did his wife leave with him ?

I'm WSU - G block. I am fortunate that everyone around me is fine (But I do know them) sorry you have to put up with this guy.

You shouldn't have to take that abuse.

WSU - G block is very friendly and no nob-heads have shown themselves so far.

I heard a bloke moaning constantly about Ulloa last night. He lost it when Ulloa chased a ball out of play to take a quick throw in. I understand that its a place to go and escape the stress of everyday life, but why bother if you can only be negative?

I have a Barnes hater behind me too. I don't know why people hate him so much. I don't really care either way.

The bunch of (northern accent) middle age JCLs behind us used to slag Bridcutt, until I assume they picked up on the following:

Every time they did this, the next time Bridcutt tackled or used the ball, the imposing tall bloke next to me with a booming deep voice would bellow towards the pitch:

"Get in there Liam Bridcutt. Brilliant play".
Or
"If there's one thing Bridcutt isn't, it's slow".

Psychopathic, but it did the trick. Unfortunately they now talk other shite.

You must have done the same as us then. When we ordered our tickets from the club, we asked for the no nob-heads section. They replied "Ah you will want G block then".

If he was moaning about Buckley i could've understood it as he was way of his best again .... Remember talking to some Watford fans who said that he would go missing for 4-5 games and then have 1-good game they were glad to see him go, he now seems to be falling into that pattern again
