The sport was a far poorer place without him, the man is quite simply phenomenal, the greatest ever golfer and very possibly the greatest ever sportsman.

Team sport though, as good as he was he couldn't have won it without a very talented team around him.

Woods has destroyed golf courses around the world for years all by himself and has taken the sport to another level, so much so that he's probably bigger than the sport itself now.

He has an illness, for the things he has done for the sport of golf he needs support not criticism.
