With the biggest game of the season almost upon us, this is unforgiveable. Barnes red card was avoidable and shows a very petulant and immature attitude right when we need players to be the exact opposite.

The ref was being poor most of the match, plenty of apparently challenges on Ulloa but NOTHING was given for the ENTIRE match.

To clarify you're not prepared to be annoyed at him for being sent off until the language he used to justify his issuance of a red card from the official is confirmed?

Surely irrespective of the lack of a penalty decision in our favour you don't condone a player for being sent off for swearing at an official?

IF highlights show it was a stonewall pen and the decision didn't go in our favour are you genuinely left with a feeling of "oh well never mind Ashley it's not your fault that you lack creative expression in the face of provocation, well done for standing up for what you feel" type thing?

Thing is, there are two groups of haters on here: one group (a minority, a vocal minority) thinks he's a useless player, so his suspension shouldn't affect us. Went down 3 times clutching his face when balls went into the box, none of whic was there contact let alone a penalty. Then proceeded to chase the ref the length of the pitch constantly in his ear. Blokes a liability and offered next to nothing all game. Second time in a few weeks.
