Nestling in green nowhere
Everyone with any sense can see that, sooner or later, Israel will start WW3.

Ironic that hitler unwittingly created Israel by nearly wiping European Jewry off the map and now they will probably do for the whole world by being utterly inflexible and repellant neighbours.

So the only way you can understand the situation going out there is to go over there. It would surely depend who Steve Foster spoke to while he was out there. He hints in his post that he entered the Palestinian areas but that doesn't mean he gained a balanced view of what his happening out there. He could well have gone over and stayed with Jewish families and been given a guided tour or the occupied territories by them. This would not afford him the opinions and feelings of the Palestinians in any away.

There is are many many more sources of information than "Left wing Guardian reporters" and if anyone cares to look at a wide range of information on the subject they can come to their own conclusions based on more solid foundations than simply visiting the country.

I would also suggest that as Steve has just returned from the area having done some first class research into the subject he could share with us more than three sentences sharring his experienced. It is not much to go on from our very own roving reporter is it?

Depends what you read eh. I don't take much notice of the British Biased Corporation. As for the way the Israeli's are mean't to treat the Palestinians.... have you considered this.
"The Humiliation of Palestinian Refugees That the UN Human Rights Council Ignores.
Palestinian refugees in Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria suffer a daily humiliation at the hands of their Arab brothers. It is way past time that they were given dignity, equality before the law and Iraqi, Jordanian, Lebanese or Syrian citizenship."

i will watch the video a little later when i have time. But is the gist of what you are saying that Palestinian refugees are treated badly in other countries?

refugees are treated badly by people the world over. I am not really sure of the point you are making.

I have not seen any problems from Jews in England, nor for that matter Sikhs, Hindus, Buddhists etc. Just take a look at Somalia, Yemen, Libya, Mali, Iran etc, they are all over 90% Muslim, fighting and killing each other. The troubles in Malmo (Sweden) Holland, France, Germany, Belgium, Pakistan, Southern Thailand and parts of England..... are not caused by the aforementioned, but by Muslims.
Israel is surrounded by volatile Arab countries and needs to watch it's back..... imo.

Loving that you don't take any notice of the "British Biased Corporation" and then link to this website.

As for blaming Islam for the ills of the world, this is just lazy, Islamaphobic, simplistic and short sighted IMHO.

Unfortunately it looks like it. This response to Mali.
"A message posted on a jihadist website on Sunday promised that “terrible” attacks will soon strike the US, France, Denmark and other European countries.“Where will the next strike by Al-Qaeda be?” a message on the Ansar al-Mujahidin network read, followed by: “The house of disbelief: America, France, Denmark and other countries in Europe, and in the countries that helped and help France and other places.”The message threatened attacks that will be “strong, serious, alarming, earth-shattering and terrible,” which will be carried out both collectively and individually. The post also singled out France, telling the country to prepare for a “long war of attrition.”The threats against France may be connected to the French military’s recent operation in Mali against pro-Al-Qaeda militants. Al-Qaeda flag used in Iraq Credit: Wikipedia The commentators on the forum praised the message, and said they hoped to “hear the news of these strikes soon.” The Ansar al-Mujahidin network is a well-known jihadist forum that has previously published messages affiliated with Al-Qaeda and its supporters. In April 2012, the NYPD launched an investigation into a 3-D image posted on the forum that said Al-Qaeda would soon return to New York City.."

quote: "xenophobic"..... I have already stated that there is no trouble from Sikhs, Hindus, Buddhists etc..... so maybe "xenophobic" the easy old kop out is not really apt eh. You know the easy tag of racist, little Englander etc, when an opinion differs, the leftie way eh. Maybe you are shrouded in OZ.
By the way..... "Xenophobia is a dislike or fear of people from other countries or of that which is perceived to be foreign or strange".......strange that i have no truck with the aforementioned eh.

Just a problem with Muslims eh? Good luck with that.

I apologise for my lazy use of xenophobe and will substitute Islamaphobe.

Handy you could focus on that one word and ignore the rest of my post though eh?

I've been to Israel more than once and have to say that Israelis ( in general ) are the rudest bunch of miserable bastards on earth.

The Palestinians are typically very friendly and polite.

The pay of Palestinians in Israel is hardly fair with the average Jewish worker receiving roughly twice as much as Arabs for the same job.

I've been to Israel a dozen times and, whilst I would agree that many of them tend to be a bit blunt and tending towards rudeness, I wouldn't agree that they are miserable at all, despite the fact that they are partially surrounded by countries who wish to destroy them.

Never been to Israel but have met many Israelis and they have on the whole been sound. It is almost like it doesn't matter where you are from or which religion you are born into people are decent unless they are not.

Very good that. Edit the word "xenophobic" from your post, and replace it with the word "Islamaphobic", so as to make the reply look a nonsense.
I am not keen on Muslims, their backward ideology etc, i don't agree with it. I suppose that has to go down as a phobia eh. For me it is not a fear of, i just don't like it, a bit like not liking Marmite.....but not the little ticked boxes we are put in if opinions differ.

Yes how sneaky I was. changing my post and hoping no-one would notice, despite the fact that you had already quoted my post for everyone to see...........oh and that in my next post i told you and everybody reading that that was what i was going to do. I wouldn't make a very good spy would I? I'll tell you what I will change it back if that will make you feel better.

Okay so now we have accurately defined your feels towards Muslims (2.2 Billion people world wide you 'just don't like'), can we get back to the discussion at hand.

Notice that you ae still not responding to any of the other points in my original post but instead still banging on about my misuse of the word xenophobic. (too late to edit I am sorry you are stuck with it).

This is what you put in your post (by the way, you commented and stated you would watch the vid later) so i wondered how you could make an assumption.

Okay, I will ask a more direct question: How can you call the BBC biased and then post a link to such a blatantly Pro-Israel site? Surely this is double standards?

I did watch the video and understand that for you it is further proof that (and I will be careful of my definition here as i know how precious you get about me accurately describing your dislike for 2.2 billion people :p) you don't like Muslims. For me it didn't show that at all more that Palestinians are getting a raw deal what ever they do, They cannot leave, they cannot live in persecution with their utilities, land and water being taken away. They cannot engage in open warfare with a country backed by one of the worlds super powers. So what options are they left with?

Perhaps stop lobbing bombs into Israel may help.
Anyway BF, good debate, i'm up for work at 6. So seeing as you are thousands of miles away, and may not realise why i am not keen on Islam.... this from England, today in the news.
Divorce cases could be settled under Sharia and religious courts after landmark High Court ruling | Mail Online
The slide towards Sharia Law has now officially started. Once it starts, the drip drip will become a trickle, then a steady flow, then a torrent. There are 85 known Sharia Courts in England. We have our own laws in this country.
I bid you goodnight BF.

Goodnight Soulman, Good fun as always.

f***ing hell though......The Daily Mail!!! are you serious.

Not sure where to start with this but lets go for
1. the word "could" in the headline
2. This is about Jews not Muslims
3. Both parties asked for the case to be referred to the Jewish court.
4. The outcome was similar to the ruling a British court would have made.
5. this quote "the judge added that the Beth Din ruling cannot be binding because that would make it more important than a court judgement, which would be illegal, reported The Times."

This article is a stretch to the headline even for The Daily Mail.

Sleep easy, Sharia Law will never replace British Law.
