Well I'm hoping we all get smashed and we nick a win. Isn't that what football is about?

If we are going to try and out football them as Gus suggests Arsenal will run riot. The pace they have and the pace we don't have at CB is the key IMO.

Hey ho it's great to be playing them

Can we not score any own goals in this thrashing please

I think we'll concede at least 3. One will be a pen and one will be an own goal.

We have absolutely nothing to lose tho, so going to enjoy the day whatever - "Win or lose on the booze"

Can we do better than 3 own goals in a total of 6 against

This is exactly my point ! Before we played Liverpool away last year I thought we might nick a win , but I. Reality we got smashed and utterly humiliated ! Playing arsenal at home is giving me that exact same thought !

Maybe I have an inflated opinion of your team, but I'm hoping you'll win on merit, having outplayed the Arsenal, not just "nicked it".
By the way, and I realise this has probably been discussed earlier, why isn't the match on television? I think it's the most attractive tie of the round. Is it because Swansea v Arsenal went to a replay?

No, its because the Leeds and Man U matches have to be shown by law!

But in reality it was probably because of the above mentioned replay.

If Gus goes defensive we are going to be over run, we have got to take the game to them from the first whistle. I can see a draw.

No idea why they aren't showing it on tv it's got to be the most interesting tie of the round and good football is guaranteed as it would have been if Swansea had got through. Given the mainly negative tactics we have employed in so many home matches I really can't see where a win would come from. If we play with fear we are gonna get hammered. Really hope we go for it and if we get thrashed, so be it.

I suppose we could try and keep the ball in our half all game :lolol:

I think Arsenal will tonk us, but you never know on the day. Bradford beat them, so anything can happen.

Over there
Heart says 2-1 victory, head says tonking. After weeks of trying for a ticket I'll try one more time tomorrow, but I'll not be successful so i've lined up a pub viewing of the match in a local in southend that shows Internet feeds. I've recruited 4 people that will support Brighton for the day, 2 Arsenal fans
and a guy over from Milan learning my works process's. lets hope it's the 2-1 option :)
