I can't imagine he has not had clearance. I got the impression it was touch and go as to whether he would feature at Birmingham. So I would assume he has been cleared to play by now. Would be very surprised if that was not the case.

Why wouldn't he have received it yet? If he's not in the squad it's because we want to save him for Arsenal at the Amex. And there's not much wrong with that in my opinion, I honestly believe we've got enough to beat them as it is.

Charlie implied in the press conference that he would be in the squad. But he was not asked if his clearance had come through yet - clearly HB&B should have been there

HB&B would have asked if Leonardo Ulloa prefers tomato ketchup or brown sauce on his chips

Or might not be! I'm already worried people are expecting too much of him! He has never played in this country before, may need time to bed in! People are expecting instant success with him, when the most likely outcome is to remain patient with him whilst he learns the English game!!!

Not having a go at you personally but I don't buy all that nonsense about players having to 'bed in' or learn our way etc.. He's an experienced professional footballerwho has played at a very high level and a striker at that, he knows where the goal is and if he plays I expect him to be able to slot in fairly easily into the role he has been purchased for. His fitness should be OK as he has been in the first team squad at Almeria and the aim if he plays should be to feed him the ball either to his head or in front of goal and let him do the rest, I don't really think a player of his quality should find that too difficult to adapt to.

But this is important information, alongside where he stands on marmite.... or even if he is aware of marmite.
