Does anyone use this service or have any information about who runs it, if it's the bus company or a club. I park there and walk across to the train so would love to know if there are spaces or a waiting list for the coach.

MIDSUSSEXSEAGULLS PICK UP IN BUGS HOLE:thumbsup:

Yes I have contacted them as well thanks, I have a blue badge and the pub is an ideal place to leave the car without a long walk to bus, the MSS coach services the other side of the town, slightly more awkward to find a close place to park.
I have missed the cut off but have provisionally booked 2 seats with the Seagull Travel coach, fingers crossed

There are usually two routes that pick up in BH, the stop by the Railway, and another one in London Road by the BP garage. I think the Railway one is route 19. You should be able to park in the Queens Crescent car park almost opposite?

They're pretty good, apart from the day the driver (who started his journey in Albourne) couldn't find Burgess Hill and arrived 45 minutes late, having unsuccessfully visited Hassocks and Ditchling on the way. Still. He seemed to think it was hilarious.

I drink in the Railway, coke these days, so I get my money refunded for parking in their car park, and they know my car so they look out for it

In the main, it's a good service, and worth the money. You also get back to Burgess Hill much quicker than if you were going by train. I always use the coach service if I'm off to work after a game.

I just hope there are spaces for next Saturday the trains could be a nightmare

There are still three Burgess Hill stops showing available on the website as I type, on the two different routes (8 which stops at the Triangle & the BP garage on London Road, and 19, which is the Railway one).

You can book it online now- I recommend you do as I know from previous experience that the 19 route has sold out on previous occasions. The link is here

4th round FA Cup Tie vs Arsenal - Home - Saturday 26th January - KO 15 00

I have done that a couple of hours ago, I will be happy once they have confirmed the booking tomorrow, it's pending right now, I worry about these things far too much for my own good:(

Ah, I see, well you should be OK as the route is still showing on the list. Once it's sold out, the stop no longer shows on the drop down menu and you wouldn't have been able to make the provisional booking

The one at the BP on London road, is that the Blues Away coach? I'm due to getting that one, it used to pick up from the castle inn at Hickstead but has changed......

No, I think it's another Seagulls Travel route, route 8.

Apologies. I didn't read this properly, thought it was about away days, not home games, and was hoping it was news about brum on Saturday......

I moved up to bugs hole in the summer and have been using the train, mainly because its free on the ticket, not sure if I want to start spending more on a coach, but getting home quicker and easier does sound appealing.
